As the gateway to the Vallée de l’Homme, the cradle of prehistory, the commune is home to a magnificent original cave, known as the “Hundred Mammoths”, whose cave drawings can be dated to the Magdalenian period. The Château de l’Herm also bears witness to its medieval past.

You can also visit the Renaissance church of the 16th century, the only vestige of the village rebuilt after the fire of 31 March 1944 during the Second World War. A memorial area recalls the events and explains the particular architecture of the village.
