The castle of Herm
The scenery of Jacquou le Croquant…
Amazing gothic architecture, build at the end of the 15th century, the castle of Herm was abandoned after the many battles.
In 1899, Eugene Le Roy, novelist was inspired by this ruin and built scenery for his play and novel “Jacquou le Croquant”.
Take the stairs that will bring you up three floors up and admire the amazing chimneys and armories: two lions and two towers.
